The Do's of Happy Camping
This is a family campground and we look forward to everyone having a good time. We want all of our guests to enjoy our facilities and have a safe relaxing stay. This will only be possible with your help. Please respect other campers and our campground facilities. We reserve the right to protect the rights of our guests, trees and other natural surrounding for the benefit and safety of all.
We are now gated. All campers will get a card which they need drop off as they exit in the black drop box. Not returning you gate card will result in a $25.00 fee. All guests and visitors will need to stop at the store and pay the visitor fee to be let thru the gate.

Due to a new insurance requirement any camper bringing a golf cart will be required to provide proof of insurance for the golf cart.
Parents are responsible for their children's actions and safety at all times. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by a parent while in the bathrooms, your children's bad behavior/actions while in the bathrooms can result in you being asked to leave the park. Children should be with their parents while in our recreational areas. All children are to be under adult supervision during our quiet hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. NC law all children under 14 must be accompanied by a adult while inside the fenced pool area.
Campfires are part of the camping experience, however please put them out properly when not attended. All fires must be of reasonable size so as not to endanger anyone or anything. All campfires are to be built in the fire ring at your site. Please do not move the fire ring to another location.. Firewood may be purchased in our store during regular store hours. Do not cut down any trees. Due to the spread of Emerald Ash Borer we can not allow any firewood to be brought into the campground. Thank you for your understanding.
Check Out Time is 1:00 pm. Please let us know by 10:30 am on the day of your departure if you wish to stay on your site for an additional night (if it is available). Please do not leave the campground and be away all day on your departure day because we may have a reservation arriving at 3:00 pm on your site. Late check may be possible if you check at the office, for a extra fee. Cabin Check Out is noon 12:00 pm to allow cleaning time.
Check In Time is between 3:00 pm and our store closing. There is a extra fee for arriving early on Saturdays, please call the office for more information.
All guests and visitors must sign in at the office before going to your site and pay the day use fee $. Visiting hours are over at 10:00pm unless you have registered them to stay over night in your camper and there are enough beds. Tents can not be set up on your site for visitors, they can rent a tent site in their name. Only one family per camp site.
DO OBEY POSTED POOL RULES AND HOURS: There is NO lifeguard at any time - swim at your own risk. A parent, grandparent or guardian MUST accompany children under 14 at all times while in the fenced pool area. This is a North Carolina Law..
Safe slow driving: Cars, bicycles and golf carts must observe the 6 mph speed limit on campground roads. Golf carts are to be driven only by adults with a valid drivers license, and insurance.
Quiet Hours: For the comfort of your neighbor quiet time is between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. All children are to be at your site during this time. Please respect others around you by limiting the volume of radio's, TV's, voices and automobiles during quiet hours.
Alcohol: The use of alcoholic beverages must be in moderation and confined to the campers site and in concealed bottles, cans or plastic cups. Drunkenness will not be tolerated.
Swimming in the pond is not permitted. The pond is a fishing pond, no entry into the pond except for canoes, kayaks and john boats. No gas motors are allowed.
Do know that firearms, fireworks and drugs are not permitted in the campground.
Please help us keep the campground clean, do not litter. There is a dumpster for trash in bags on the exit road behind the tan fence.
Throwing of rocks will be considered vandalism and is cause for ejection from campground.
Pets: are allowed in the campground; with the pet owner responsible for cleaning up after the pet and keeping the pet under control. Pets are to be leashed at all times, however not to be chained/leashed at your site unattended. Pets are to be on a 6' or shorter leash. Dog crates/pens are not allowed outside your camper. Please read our Pet Policy page on this web site for more information. We do have a fenced in Pet Park directly behind the Game Room in the shade, along with benches and Doggi pot trash bags and trash can for your use.
Do remember sewer rings are required or tight connection at each sewer site. Do Not Use Rocks Around The Sewer Drains.
Do ride bicycles and wheeled toys only during daylight hours. Skateboards are not allowed in the pavilion.
Do know that our laundry facility is open 24 hours a day. Quarters are available in the game room and store during their hours.
Do help us to conserve our well water. WASHING OF VEHICLES IS PROHIBITED. There is a car wash in Statesville and Mocksville. Please fix or report any leaks to the store.
Do help Mother Nature and us by NOT putting nails, clotheslines, gas lanterns or chop marks on our trees. The need their skin also.
Management reserves the right to evict, at our discreation and without refund, any person whose conduct is objectionable or violates park rules. Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission to photograph visitors while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor.
Our camping guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a outdoor environment including specifically (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as daily activities, hiking, swimming or boating at the campground. The campground, its owners, manager, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such activities.
