If you are looking for a place for family fun in the great outdoors, head our way! We are located 1/2 mile off Interstate 40 in the community of Cool Springs. Whether you are local to North Carolina or planning a vacation to our beautiful state, Midway Campground Resort is the perfect destination for family fun! We are located on 30 acres of hardwoods in the Piedmont of North Carolina, a great location for you to use us as a base camp and make day trips to North Carolina's popular tourist locations close by.
What type of camping do we offer? Midway Campground Resort is a prime North Carolina campground offering 50Amp Patio full hookup pull thru sites, 50Amp full hookup back in or pull thru sites, 30Amp full hookup back in or pull thru sites, 30Amp water & electric back in or pull thru sites, 30Amp and 20Amp pop-up back in or pull thru sites and tent sites with water & electric, or with out. Also two bedroom deluxe cabins with a half bath. We added a rental in 2014 that has a shower in the bathroom. All of our rentals have 4-5 steps leading into them.
We are a family owned and operated campground; this is our 38th year in business. Midway Campground Resort was started in 1979 when the first generation from our family purchased the campground. Since 1979, four generations from our family have been involved in the campground in one capacity or another.
